RED LIGHT THERAPY

A woman performing a yoga pose in front of a red LED panel, with icons and text highlighting benefits like hair regrowth, pain relief, wound healing, and improved sleep.

Red Light Therapy (RLT), also called Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT) or Photo-bio modulation, uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared to support cellular recovery and inflammation regulation through gentle, cumulative exposure. It is commonly paired with other treatments to support comfort, relaxation, and tissue recovery.

Short, consistent sessions are often more effective than intensity.

How It Works

Red and near-infrared light wavelengths penetrate the skin and underlying tissues, where they are absorbed by the mitochondria (the energy centers of your cells). This process increases cellular energy production (ATP), improves oxygen utilization, and reduces oxidative stress.

As a result, Red Light Therapy:

  • Enhances cellular repair and regeneration

  • Reduces inflammation

  • Improves circulation

  • Supports collagen and elastin production

Unlike heat-based treatments, Red Light Therapy does not heat the skin or cause discomfort.

Common Treatment Benefits

• Reduces inflammation and muscle soreness
• Supports post-treatment recovery
• Improves skin tone, texture, and elasticity
• Enhances wound and tissue healing

Red Light Therapy is safe, gentle, and well-tolerated by most clients.
